Although we don't give individual pension advice, our aim is to provide you with all the pension information you need - in plain English - to give you more confidence with your pension decisions.
It doesn't matter if you are in the private sector or the public sector in say, the Teachers' Pension Scheme or Civil Service Pension Scheme.
Don't get too hung up on the technicalities: using our simple information pages, you can soon get the hang of the basics -and like us we think you will see that pensions are a compelling investment with a tax break that makes them great value.
Once you have the answers you need from our huge information bank you should, if appropriate, try to take some action on your pension as soon as possible. Don't let the months and years drift by because it will make your task more difficult. Try and do something now!

New Rules from April 6th 2011
On 6th April 2006 so called Pensions Simplification was introduced, However this was continually tampered with to make the rules far from simple.
From April 6th 2011 new rules were introduced making the previously complicated rules much simpler.
